What is Solgar Enhanced Potency Biotin?

Today we review Solgar Enhanced Potency Biotin.  Biotin is a B vitamin that works in two main ways within the body; It helps support healthy skin, hair, and nails, and it also helps boost your metabolism.  This supplement contains only this nutrient to offer the most pure source of biotin that it can.

Ingredients

The only ingredient in these capsules is 1,000 mcg of biotin.  While it is good that this product only has one main ingredient, the amount of the nutrient is extremely low.  Through our research, we have found that other supplements contain up to 10,000 mcg of biotin, which is the optimal daily dose.  This specific supplement only contains 1/10 of the needed nutrient, and therefore it will be far less effective than its competitors.

Dosage

The recommended dose of this supplement is to take one capsule, one or two times per day.  Each dose should be taken with a meal for optimal results. Unfortunately, even by taking two capsules per day, you will still only receive 2,000 mcg of biotin, which is only 20% of the daily dose of other similar products.  Again, with such a small dose, this product will not work as well to help you achieve your beauty goals.

What is the Cost?

On the manufacturer’s website, they offer bottles with 50, 100, or 200 capsules in each.  Unfortunately, this company does not sell directly to customers, but instead lists local stores where you could purchase this supplement.  One third party seller has the 100 count bottles available for purchase for only $13.20.

Manufacturer’s Guarantee

Through our research, we were unable to find any information about a money back guarantee nor a return policy.  Many times, when the manufacturer does not sell directly to its consumers, they do not offer a way to send back a product, should you be left unsatisfied, and instead leave it up to the different sellers and distributors.

Also, we were unable to find any reviews about this product, good or bad.  This raises concern because it shows not many people have tried this supplement and those who have tried it were not impressed enough to leave a positive review.

Our Final Review of Solgar Enhanced Potency Biotin

There are a few things we liked about Solgar Enhanced Potency Biotin.  The supplement is pure, and therefore contains only biotin. The pills also come in a vegetarian capsule, making them easy for anyone to take.

Unfortunately, there are many things that concerned us about this product.  First off, the actual amount of biotin per capsule is extremely low. Even with the highest dose, this supplement only contains 20% of the biotin that its competitors have.  Also, because the company does not sell directly to its customers, they have no guarantee or refund policy related to its products. Lastly, there are absolutely no customer reviews to be found about this product.  For these reasons, we cannot recommend this supplement to help you grow healthier skin, hair, and nails.

What is Solgar Enhanced Potency Biotin? Today we review Solgar Enhanced Potency Biotin.  Biotin is a B vitamin that works in two main ways within the body; It helps support healthy skin, hair, and nails, and it also helps boost your metabolism.  This supplement contains only this nutrient to offer…
