What is Nugevity Omega Max?

We review Nugevity Omega Max, a product formulated from pure fish oils which are said to keep triglyceride levels in a healthy range. Healthy triglyceride levels promote a stronger immune system and aid healthy responses of the body’s anti-inflammatory system. The manufacturer also claims that this combination of Omega-3 is free from mercury and enhances eyesight and moisturizes the tears of the eye. This product claims to assist with the development of the nervous system of the fetus during pregnancy.

Ingredients

Both of these ingredients are derived from sardine anchovy and mackerel, are distilled and then used for their properties. EPA is a fatty acid which is responsible for the signaling of anti-inflammatory responses in the body. EPA is also recognized for maintaining mental health, lubricating eyes, and joints as well as supporting the immune system.

DHA is found to be part of the cellular structure of the heart, brain, and eye and plays a pivotal role in the early brain and nervous system development of the fetus.

Other Ingredients:

  • Gelatin
  • Purified water
  • Glycerin
  • Stearic acid
  • Pharmaceutical glaze
  • Acetylated monoglycerides
  • Polysorbate 80
  • Potassium sorbate
  • Vanillin

Apart from Vanillin, which is an antioxidant, most of the ingredients listed here are unfortunately either food additives, emulsifiers or preservatives. The presence of glycerin rules this supplement out for vegans and vegetarians. Purity is important when opting for an Omega 3 supplement and seeing such a long list of additives may inhibit the performance of the supplement.

Dosage

Two soft gels may be taken per day, preferably at bedtime, or as suggested by your medical health practitioner. Should this upset your stomach, take two soft gels with supper. Those on blood-thinning medication and those scheduling a surgery should consult their medical health practitioner before use.

What is the Cost?

A 60 soft gel containing bottle(1 month supply) is available for online order through the manufacturer’s website at $30.00. The product is discounted in various subscription offers, although we strongly advise against subscriptions as they have hidden costs. The product is also sold at retail stores.

Manufacturer’s Guarantee

The manufacturer offers a 30-day money back guarantee which excludes all shipping and handling costs. Dissatisfied customers may return the product up to 30 days from the date of purchase after calling or emailing to request a refund.

Our Final Review of Nugevity Omega Max

We liked that the product uses a substantial amount of EPA ( Eicosapentaenoic Acid) and DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid) in their supplement. However, we regret to have noted that not only is the product expensive, but only a 30-day money back guarantee is offered to customers. We feel that every customer deserves to be protected by a minimum of at least 365 days and be refunded 100%. The presence of additives is also to be taken seriously, as this might render Nugevity Omega Max ineffective. Due to all of these negative points which we have noted through our research, we are unable to recommend this product to anyone.
