What is Scalp Med?
Scalp med is a two-step system of topical sprays designed, according to the manufacturer, to help stop excessive hair loss, improve the quality of hair and enhance its growth. The treatment does not impact sexual performance. It is said to provide the scalp with all of the nutrients needed for healthy hair. Please read our full review of Scalp Med to see if this product is worth trying, given your particular situation.
Ingredients
The active ingredient in this supplement is Minoxidil which is approved by the FDA and, according to Scalp Med, proven in clinical testing to not only stop hair loss but support the growth of new hair.
Dosage
Using Scalp Med is not the easiest process. First you prepare your scalp using Nutisol spray. Apply 4 to 6 pumps on the areas where hair is thinning and then massage your scalp gently after every 2 or 3 pumps. Then apply 6 pumps of Vitadil directly to the affected areas of the scalp. After every 2 pumps, massage your scalp gently. Thoroughly wash your hands after applying this supplement. Treatment should be expected to last 4 to 6 months before hair starts growing back in .
What is the Cost?
At the time of this review, a four-month supply of Scalp Med could be bought from the manufacturer’s web site for $49.95 for a one-month supply. The offer is a bit tricky, because the fine print then informs you that you pay for all four months’ up front, meaning you are charged $199.80 on the spot; and you are then enrolled in an auto-ship program which will cost you $199.80 every four months. The cost on Amazon for a stand-alone four-month supply is $268.50.
Manufacturer Guarantee
Customers can return product within 30 days of receiving it. However the cost of shipping will not be refunded.
Our Final Review Of Scalp Med
While Scalp Med may indeed help stop hair loss and even support the growth of hair (although we can’t be sure) and although it offers a limited (30-day) money-back guarantee (not long enough to test its effectiveness) we are troubled first and foremost by the price. We are also concerned about the tactic of auto-ship and, thirdly, the product is not particularly easy to use. We are not surprised that there were no customer ratings of the product on Amazon (at the time of this review) because it is so expensive it is unlikely to garner many sales.
